EMDR
EMDR (aka Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing) is a powerful way to access and re-process old memories, experiences, traumas that are causing current difficulties.  These difficulties can manifest in too many ways to be able to mention here.  Suffice it to say, if you are experiencing emotions, behaviors, thoughts or physical sensations that seem out of your control EMDR is an extremely effective and rapid approach to healing.  EMDR is one of the most studied and proven psychotherapies - one study showed an efficacy rate of 84% - 90% in participants.

The path to healing starts with Self-Awareness and leads to Self-Acceptance

The first steps we will take if we approach your issue from a Cognitive Behavioral standpoint will be to discover and uncover your limiting beliefs.  The beliefs that you may be unconsciously holding that derail your intentions... or perhaps you may even have an an unconscious intention that is counteracting your conscious intention.  The main goal here will be to take an in-depth look at the exact unconscious thoughts or beliefs that underlie your actions.

Self-Acceptance Can Begin Through Changing your Limiting Beliefs.
Not an easy task, but through a collaborative effort we will work together to address your limiting beliefs about yourself and your world to those that are more beneficial beliefs for you and for creating that life that you really want to have. This is usually done through a series of thought exercises and planned exposures to circumstances that may be causing difficulty for you.
